How to export your data from TameFlare.

Exporting data

Audit log

Go to Audit Log in the dashboard and click Export CSV to download your full audit history.

Configuration (policies + agents)

Go to Settings → Export Configuration to download all policies and agents as a JSON file.

The export includes:

  • All policies (rules, metadata)
  • All agents (names, status)
  • Organization settings

It does not include: API keys, credentials, or traffic logs.

Importing configuration

Go to Settings → Import Configuration and upload a previously exported JSON file. Duplicates (same name) are skipped.

Data retention

| Data type | Retention | |---|---| | Audit events | Configurable per plan. Starter: 7 days. Pro: 30 days. Team: 90 days. Enterprise: custom. | | Traffic logs | Stored locally on the gateway. Cleared when the gateway restarts. | | Credentials | Stored encrypted (AES-256-GCM) until you delete the connector. | | User accounts | Until account deletion is requested. |
